Is it okay or a good idea to do light workouts? Such as walking/jogging and possibly even sit in the sauna or steam room?
I’ve heard working out is debatable and depends on the person. Some say it distracts your body from the healing process. I’ve also heard the sauna is a very bad idea while fasting because you run the risk of dehydration. Again, these are just things I’ve read but I’m not an expert. I say try it and see how it feels but definitely don’t push it. As soon as it feels wrong, stop.
Please don’t. If you’re trying to get toned, or trying to lose weight, this is the absolute worst way to do it. If you’re just fasting for a procedure, skip the gym for a couple of days if you have to.
