Hello, I haven’t posted in a while so I wanted to share some new developments. My Fitbit app and scale tell me I have lost 12.3 lbs. I’m currently at my lowest weight in a while. At least in 2015 around my wedding I weighed about 180 I believe.
My goal fast is still 60hours. It is something that is challenging yet obtainable. According to my Vora app out of the last 6 fast (currently on my 7th) I completed 4 and stopped early 2. The reason why I stopped two early is because I have to give up my biggest crutch; coffee.
Coffee or any caffeine was cause my blood pressure to rise. 140/90 was the reading I took during one of my attacks (Saturday). I do have anxiety and depression and I had read somewhere that caffeine can be a trigger for panic attacks. So for now I am cutting it out and just drinking water. So far I have not had the same rise in my blood pressure.
Anyone else having problems or stumbling blocks? Please share so that we can learn from each other and make our fasts safer.
I mentally get stuck at around 50 hrs I’m trying really hard to break thru this week to 72! I’m on 40 hrs currently. The social part is what messes me up. I want to enjoy the time with my family and I hate watching my daughter have to eat alone.
