Has anyone tried OMAD with lifting weights in the gym?

I did OMAD in 2017-18 and lost significant weight (~35 lbs).

Then I went back to drinking, regained all that weight and did OMAD again in 2021 to drop all the weight once more.

I stopped doing IF and stopped caring about how much I was eating, so I gained 20 lbs.

Now at age 32, I’m more serious about lifting weights. I want to be in the best shape possible, but I also prefer OMAD because it helps me manage my eating habits and allows me to eat a fast food meal if I’d like without going excessively over my caloric intake.

Has anyone gotten in good shape lifting weights while doing OMAD? I’m already a pretty thin person, even at 180 lbs currently (I’m 5’10”, btw). I don’t want to do cardio.

I am determined to have biceps 💪🏽 😂

Hell yea, I lost 67 pounds.Gained it most backI am disappointed and wish I could rewind time as I lost the muscle I built.Just remember exercising is life long. I hit my goal and was lost at what to do next.I have now realized, this is forever!I am 6’1.Right now I am at 176- headed towards 160, trainer wants me at 140, no way will I be doing that.I ate once a day, kept my protein high in my fasting window. I used the app “Zero” for fasting. I had to let go of the mentality “I can have fast food or bad food”. I had to get rid of the mentality “it’s fits my macros”.

Yes. First few workout may be tough but your body will adjust. I was doing CrossFit into 20-22 hrs and breaking the fast after the workout. This was pre-covid. Then gyms were closed as you know and then I had an unrelated injury and couldn’t continue. But hopefully I am starting again in next week ✌️
