Homemade Pre-Workout

Recently started doing IMF, just wanted to make sure this doesn’t break my fast Tetley Green Tea - Pure Green (around 35mg of Caffeine), Creatine - 3g, Beta Alanine - 4g, Citrulline Malate - 3g,L- Theanine - 200mg (may need to be lower since low amount of caffeine?), N-Acetyl L-Carnitine - 500mg, Electrolyte Powder - 1g (unflavoured) These are the recommended serving sizes if anyone thinks I should alter it ,help would be appreciated.

I had this same type of question myself and I decided to just go pure and hit the gym with only an espresso in me doing OMAD and seem to have lots of energy I also eat sustained protein with my meal so think that helps with keeping the muscles right.

Honestly at the end of the day it depends on your goals. Do you absolutely need to not get kicked out of whatever physiological state you’re in, say for specific health or religious reasons, then only drink water. Are you fasting for wellness or for weight loss, it’s generally accepted that anything under 50 calories isn’t going to “ruin” your fast since it will have so minor an effect even if there are technically a couple calories in it. See for instance black coffee.

So unless one of those is secretly a spoon full of sugar, you’re probably fine. The amino acids are the closest to maybes if you want to get really pithy about it, but we’re talking tiny amounts.
