I’m a long time lurker on here and am constantly amazed by the changes I see in people.
I want to get started but I’m not sure where to begin.
I’m Male around 200lbs and about 5’8 my current diet and exercise regime is bad I go through phases of going for a run every day and eating salads to doing no exercise and eating junk. I’m also a fussy eater so when people say “eat healthy” it’s hard for me to find food I like.
Can anyone give me any advice on how I can get started on my journey? If I have a set of instructions like “eat between these hours, do this many reps or run this many Km” I think I’ll be able to stick to it I just don’t know how to start off without pushing myself too far.
To me it was easiest to start after just mentally deciding to set my mind to it. Second is to get rid of triggering foods in the house. I found writing a schedule helped in meal planning and exercise. If I wrote down the day, it was much easier to follow a plan.
