How much fat for a long fast?

I have done many fasts in the pass but never really gone over the 5 day mark. I would like to make it to 10 days as I’ve got horrendous gut issues which are destroying my life and although I’m getting better with an extremely strick diet and intermittent fasting, the progress is incredibly slow. My problem is that I’m very lean and often I feel crap after about 4 days of fasting. I don’t know if that’s because my health or because I’ve just not got enough fat on me.

I’m spending a couple weeks trying to put some weight on and I will take it easier when I fast, normally I always do loads of walking but will try and do less. Any one else manage to fast on minimal bodyweight, how did you find it? Any tips or tricks?

Its because you have no fat reserves and your body is telling you to eat or you will die.

Try a fat fast or some sort of carnivore mono meals type of eating if you want to put less stress on your body for healing purposes.
