Is it healthy to dry fast every day until 6 pm for the rest of my life?

I know it’s probably optional and I should listen to my body but are there people who only eat and drink at dusk for the rest of their lives??

Answer

It’s not so straightforward as it depends on so many things. For example, your eating window, macros, electrolytes, physical activity, etc.

I would rather do a longer dry fast every week or every other week and on the rest of the days have a normal eating and drinking routine without such restrictions.

Answer

I have a feeling it would actually be good for you, but since this is a pretty new area of science we don’t know for sure. Thing about it evolutionary wise, people wouldn’t have had access to on-demand water 24/7, so it makes sense we can do without it and function perfectly for longer periods and/or on a regular basis.

Answer

I’ve been doing dry omad since just before Christmas and apart from the odd day where it was clear I needed to drink in a bigger window I’d say 99% of the days I’ve been drinking all my fluids in a 1-2 hour window and I feel great

Answer

I feel like that’s exactly my average day on adhd meds (It stops my appetite until it wears out) so I think many people prob live like that. idk about healthy - Obvi my psychiatrist recommended I eat throughout but hey, I felt fine!
