Answer

This is quite personal. You can try and see what works best for you. Your energy level might be very low after the workout if you don’t eat afterwards, in these cases probably coffee or tea can help.
For fasting you can always try to keep your mind busy with something else that isn’t food related. Fasting is something that you can train progessively too. The hunger and activity level might depend also on the intesity of the training.

Answer

No strength training, but fairly rigorous cardio workout (running).

IT between 6pm and 12pm. Morning run is at about 4:45ish am.

I feel fine waking up, feel good after the run, but then at about 10am, I get pretty tired. Not hungry, but tired.

Answer

I’ve been doing IT fasting for over 3 years now. After the first couple of months it’s second nature and can’t go back to eating breakfast - I don’t feel hungry, cranky or depleted. I’ve always been a morning person and do a workout soon after waking up, I find for cardio/running it’s much easier to do while fasted. For strength training, I don’t find that the fasted state makes it easier, but I wouldn’t say it makes it harder either. In the first few months while adapting, I did get hungry after working out in the mornings but drinking a lot of fluid (water, hot tea) helped.
