Yes it’s fine. Studies show that there is no difference in protein loss between “exercise groups” and “non-exercise groups” during a 28-day Buchinger style fast. Participants in the exercise group “showed a greater fitness and muscle strength than the non-exercise group at the end of the intervention.”

Theres lots of studies along with anecdotal evidence to prove this or that, but what you should focus on is your OWN experience. Light weighted exercise is not extreme, so the risk factor is low. Compare low risk to highly desired outcome (im assuming something in the realm of health?), and youve got the perfect recipe to go smash some weights!As helpful as studies and people are, they just cannot compare to your experience. Youve gotta be the man, or woman, of your own destiny.

I dont do any weights when im fasting.

Long walks and podcasts are my thing

I really find my zen when im 3 days in and there is no way i feel like doing anything physically and stressfully exhausting.

Maybe some very light weights i could do. But i dont.
