Low calorie ideas to make non fat plain Greek yoghurt taste better

It’s ok with fruits etc. but any low calorie options that can sweeten it up a little? I’ve been eating a lot of it lately and it’s getting a bit old. Thanks.

Answer

Stir fry vegetables and mix that yogurt in. It’s effectively sour cream at that point. My favorite thing to add it to.

Mix it with dill, onion powder, garlic powder and some salt, and you have a ranch substitute.

Answer

Very small amount of honey or maple syrup stirred in.

Some frozen fruit—blueberries, mango, raspberries—or a little bit of dried fruit or freeze dried fruit powder.

Artificial sweeteners don’t have much good press, honestly.

Defrosted frozen fruit.Mashed banana.SF pudding mix.Powdered peanut butter. Lower sugar jams.Chocolate protein powder.Toasted desiccated coconut.Zaatar or Everything Bagel Spice.Grated cucumber and dill.

Answer

Berries are my go to. If you’re using protein powder, mixing some of that in can add a bit of variety to it. Find other uses for it to fit it into your meal plan, as someone else said you can basically use it as a sour cream substitute. Can use it in shakes or make overnight oats with it.

Also, personally, just accepting the extra 20 or so calories per cup of yogurt for 2% fat or higher was more than worth it to me. Fage was my go to and after a while 0% just started to feel gross to eat. 2% was legitimately tasty and never got old for me.
