No hunger but very dizzy

I went to the gym and at that point I been fasting from 8:00pm Thursday after thanksgiving to 9:00am Saturday so 36 hours? Is that normal? I do circuit workouts so even though the workout wasn’t bad I had to step back because I got a headache and felt dizzy.

Question, are you supplementing electrolytes into your fast while working out? If not, that’s more than likely the cause of your dizziness and headache, especially if you’re sweating as well. Make sure to replenish yourself with the proper amount of sodium, potassium, and magnesium if you’re going to be working out during a fast with a 30+ hr window, and you feel yourself getting headaches and dizzy.

With that being said, I’ve run 3 miles every day in the past, on 3 day fasts on multiple occasions, and never experienced this issue myself on shorter fasts, but on longer ones it becomes more prominent in my own experience.
