I’m so used to this tired old metabolism crashing at any opportunity, and feeling cold all the time in the winter.
Nothing like caloric restriction and the same meal schedule every day to enable metabolic crashes.
After a week of 16:8 or 18:6 alternated with 24 hour fasts, I’m pleased to report that I actually had to shed a couple of clothing layers to be comfortable on the bus.
I think I’ll continue mixing up my feeding pattern: I live by myself, am retired, and so I don’t need to maintain a strict schedule. This should help keep the metabolism from sputtering out.
