I used to do OMAD several months ago but I had to stop due to work-related reasons. Now I gained a bit of weight and so I decided to do several days ago and I felt a bit sick and really cold at night. My temp was 37.6 and my body felt really really cold. Here’s my schedule:
Ate my meal at 1:00 PM
Jogged at 5:30 PM for 40 minutes
Felt a bit something weird
Bathed around 6:30-7:00
Weirdness turns to cold then turns to a full-blown shiver and feverish feeling.
I rested the following day doing 2 meals and a little snack in between with hydrolytes then I did another one of my OMAD with the same routine written above the following day and I got sick again.
I used to do the same back then but my Jog was even more intense back then compared to the slow jog I’ve been doing now however the time frame is different because I jog at 5:00-6:00PM and eat around 7:00-8:00PM
What could it be? Did my body get weaker or is it just getting shocked?
Correlation does not equal causation…just because you felt ill at the same time as you were doing OMAD, doesn’t mean OMAD is the reason. Drink lots of fluids and take care of yourself until you feel better.
