Hi. I’m new, just getting underway. 49 year old dumb fart who recently started this journey. I’m on day 5.
So far, I’m doing keto with a combination of OMAD and 18:6. I’m more or less letting my body tell me which one I’m going to do that day depending on how I feel. I’m curious with others experiences with alternating between OMAD and 18:6. I feel that’s where I seem to be heading and it feels right. My goal is to shed 35 lbs. I have plenty of fat to burn. Any thoughts or advice is appreciated.
we are all different, you should do what ‘feels right’ to you but, i think i recall it not being advisable to IF when you first start on keto, something about waiting till you are fat adapted??? first. so i would do a little research about that.
i personally do 18:6 AND OMAD daily and 2-3 protein coffees with 10-14ml of c8 oil in each 95% of the time. works for me but, i did not do so in beginning.
PS: You do need to make sure you get enough calories in you when eating OMAD and fasting, eating too little too often can stall your weight loss.
