Began 23/1 OMAD on 10/1/22, with a couple of 48 hr fasts thrown in for good measure. I aim to finish eating by 2 PM. My diet has been pretty much keto - meat, fish veggies (cooked and fresh), nuts, berries with a tiny bit of fruit (once or twice a week) and some good grains like freekeh (maybe 3-4 tbsp). I only drink water (warm or tap) when not in my feeding window. I also cannot exercise so its solely diet for me.
Generally feeling great with better sleep and more focus - no cravings or hunger pangs, although once in a while my stomach will growl. Had one cheat meal on 10/15 which was some Chinese and a bit of white rice and I felt noticeably slower afterwards, so I did a 48 hr fast and felt much better.
Pleased with how its going so far, especially finally going under 200 lbs, a weight I have not seen for a good number of years.
Plan is to keep going until the end of the month for now and then reassess. My intermediate goal of 185 I want to reach by the end of the year, so that’s a little over 1 lb a week, which I feel is doable.
If anyone has good recommendations about anything I can do to increase the rate of fat burning while in ketosis, I’d be much obliged to hear them!
Walk a lot and/or do some mild exercise/stretching/yoga/ whatever you feel comfortable with to burn some more calories.

Edit 2: Green tea is said to aid fat burning.
