Question About Nutritional Yeast

Im not sure if this is the right place to ask this question but maybe someone knows the answer to this.

So I bought nutritional yeast a while ago because of this pasta dish I wanted to make (turned out amazing) but I never used it after that, and so it lived in my pantry for a long time. I put it in the fridge when it hit its expiration date but it has been a year since it expired it looks and smells the same as before (from what I remember)…Can I still use it?

Answer

Main thing to look out for is dry mold, if it’s overly clumpy I’d probably toss it, you can get a big bag of it on Amazon for pretty cheap so just have to weigh risks.

I love nutritional yeast flakes
