Question about psyllium husk and fasting

Hello all, I was wondering about the effects of psyllium husk on fasting. Since it is just a mix of soluble and insoluble fiber and does not get digested , does it count as breaking a fast? What have been your experiences with it? Do you feel it helps or hinders you? I have tried to find info on my own but could not find anything specific to fasting.

Answer

Per the link below that explains it’s statement in the article itself “…psyllium husk, which contains no carbohydrates other than fiber, can legitimately be described as having zero carbohydrates…”

I have started on Psyllium husk to additionally reduce my cholesterol that (I feel) increased due to Keto. Article above definitely makes me hopeful too.
