Restarting IF

Hi all, so a few years ago i lost approx 25lbs with IF. I then went on holiday and my new habit was broken but today i have decided to restart IF with the goal of an extended fast at a later date.

This post has 2 objectives, firstly to make me accountable to getting back into fasting but also to ask for those who have done an extended fast after IF how was it, what was the biggest obstacle to extending your fasts?

I too have recently jumped back on the wagon!

IF into EF wasn’t all that bad imo, I can do 48 fairly easily depending on what I ate last, lots of protein and fat vs lots of carbs

My biggest obstacles are my B.E.D., cooking for a family, and the incredibly vivid dreams about food lol

I started IF 4 weeks ago, first 18:6, then 20:4, then OMAD. I am currently 40 hours into my first extended fast (aiming for 5 days) and I am doing great. No headaches, manageable hunger, I think the IF really helped to make this a lot easier.
