Rolling 96s with broth on "fasting" days..

So I’m considering going through this regiment until I reach my GW. I feel like rolling 96s are a bit too hard without consuming anything in the 3 days around feeding day, so I’ve considered adding some broth on “fasting” days.

Now I know it’s not a true fast because I’ll be consuming 30-60 kcal/day, but I think it’ll help me with sustaining the fast.

My question is, will this affect weight loss? Do rolling fasts work better if the fasting days are only water?

Answer

A little (minor) but if it’s sustainable, then you go for it. Your broth is keto friendly and ketosis is you main fat burning tool so as long as you keep that going, you should see good results regardless

Good luck

Answer

I’ve been doing this for a few months, minus the broth. It honestly gets much better after a few weeks but I would be warry of adding broth. I think that might wake up your metabolism and the hunger will come back. As it stands hunger largely goes away after 36 hours.

Having to deal with hunger constantly would make this unsustainable.
