I started the 16:8 intermittent fasting route about 3 weeks ago. I only lost a pound. I do have ibs so I am seeing improvements with my guts, but not losing much weight. I think I am eating to many calories during my eating time. I started dieting in Jan of 2022. I have lost 36 pounds total. I now have a small residual belly with increased love handle or “spillover” that is a nightmare to get rid of. Any suggestions would be great.
It may still be too soon to evaluate weight loss. In the meantime, you have seen improvement in IBS symptoms, which is great! I’ve heard people say IF is kind of a health regimen with a side effect of weight loss. Keep at it, and more weight loss will probably follow. Good luck!
