Only on day 2 of 16:8 I basically gained a lot in pregnancy and I’m trying to lose it, I’m only slightly overweight now.
I was wondering about sweeteners.
I’ve searched in the group for posts about it and can see that people have discussed it but I can’t see anyone mentioning whether they believe it breaks a ketosis state.
I have 1 sweetener in my coffees and I reckon I could half the tablets and it will still be sweet enough for me but will this make a difference? Will it break the ketosis state regardless of how much sweetener is in the coffee?
I know this will only be opinions because without me testing my pee I won’t know for sure but equally I’m interested in opinions/suggestions. Thanks in advance.
Depends what sweetener it is. I’ve read that Sucralose can trigger higher insulin levels which could get in the way of weight loss. Found that out the hard way when i tried using pedialyte/ gatorade propel for hydration and didnt lose weight for 2 weeks
