Does anyone do this with their IF? Window of around 12pm-8pm. Instead of equal portions for lunch and dinner, have a small lunch (less than 300 calories) and then have a very large supper (greater than 1000 calories)? I almost see it as a modification to the OMAD diet. I could see it being beneficial as lunch, for me isn’t, that important and supper is my favorite meal of the day. Let me know if anyone else does it like this!
This is more or less what I do, though I think of my midday fast-breaker as a snack: yogurt, a couple scrambled eggs, some nuts, the like. It might be more effective to reverse those—big midday meal, smaller dinner—but it really doesn’t flow with my life.
I think a lot of people on 16/8 do a 12-8 window. Timing doesn’t really matter that much of when you eat. Although for sleep purposes having 2 hours before you go to bed is better than eating right before
