I think when I was my thinnest I was just doing very long fasted walks. But maybe it’s because I was spending those hours walking instead of eating lol.
idk if I am wasting my time but i spend like 2 hours walking. I could also go run for an hour and then walk the next hour.
It seems like low intensity and fasting is working though?
Less calories for weight loss. Walking may be easier to do and adhere to. Running may hurt later and increase your appetite as you replenish energy stores. Either way, the caloric impact is negligible. Just eat less calories than you need to maintain your current weight and you can’t miss.
Just a suggestion, if you want your time spent more effectively, do HIIT 4 times per week or so instead of long walking/jogging.
Sprint for 5 seconds, rest for 25. Sprint another 5, rest another 25. Repeat this for a couple minutes until you’re out of gas, it’ll just take a couple minutes. Do this a few times per week
