I notice that obviously you get drunk easier but it seems like it takes me days to get back on track and I feel drained.
It essentially runs counter to the health outcomes you’re seeking to do through fasting. Not just because alcohol isn’t great anyway, but it interferes with the processes you’re trying to kickstart through fasting. Save it for steak night!
If you’re drinking alcohol (or anything other than pure water) you’re not fasting. Fasting is an all or nothing metabolic and physiologic transformation.
So, you’re kinda asking “what’s the effect of an alcohol-only diet?”
Ask any panhandler on the corner next time you’re stopped at a traffic light.
you will get very sick…. dont even do it. I had alcohol during Keto, and ended up at the ER .. Non stop vomiting .. I only had 1 glass of red wine and it almost kill me
Stay away from Alcohol while fasting and you will be fine
