Answer

I do 23h or 19h fasts here’s what i’ve noticed after 3months:

A lot of this took about a month to happen early on it may suck because of the sudden change and a lot of these changes may be due to eating better

Answer

All the above. I’ve done a lot of OMAD and ADF. A few 5-7 day fast. If I can make it to day 3 and beyond I feel great as long as I don’t over exert myself physically. I feel enlightened, mentally sharp and energetic. I’ve been fasting off and on for the past year and a half. I have tons of knots in my back and they are becoming a lot less painful and starting to smooth out. Stretching a lot more now and have increased flexibility. Just moving around feels better. Of course weight loss and anti aging.

My skin is amazingly smooth and barely any acne, wayy shorter and lighter periods, no more joint pain like at all, save money, less procrastination, less brain fog & much happier/positive outlook on life overall. I tend to do longer fast, rolling 5 days or 7 days typically only eating for 2-3 days in between. I mainly started for weight loss but the added benefits have been amazing!!

Answer

My heartburn is gone! After having my baby it had gotten really bad and I could not sleep at night without sitting up. The other weird thing is I have a wheat allergy and usually if I have wheat my mouth starts to itch. That also is now gone.

Answer

Mental clarity, improved mood, edema in legs has eased dramatically, hormones seem more in balance, healthier relationship with food, more in tune with myself, improved skin, better sleep. There are so many benefits!

Answer

My acne nearly disappeared. 28 years old, first time in at least 4 years that I didn’t feel a need to put on concealer despite trying hundreds of dollars in skin care stuff, even birth control pills didn’t help. The effect persisted weeks after my last fast. Seems pretty minor compared to the other health conditions I struggle with, but I wasn’t expecting it at all, I had basically given up hope that it could ever improve, there is even a patch on my chin that had change so little over the years I thought it was scarring, but it’s gone.

Answer

I’ve had to take a Lansoprazole tablet every day for about 20+ years due to a medical condition named Barrett’s oesophagus, or I’ll wake up with a mouthful of acid in my my mouth rotting my teeth every night (food pipe issue that causes pain and let’s acid come up it incorrectly).

Fasting has essentially ‘cured’ me of this condition, to the point where I don’t need to pay for or take the medication each day anymore.

It’s been an incredible unintended consequence, I couldn’t be happier with it!

Answer

CFS here and I could probably write quite a bit on the small but meaningful changes that happen while I’m fasting and after. The biggest and most important is an even energy level throughout the day. Once I get through the first 24 hours, every day after (save for the 60h-70h “hell” run), everything feels so… consistent in my body and that is such a massive QoL change. It’s CRAZY how much eating throws my energy levels around

Answer

I had very bad gout issues and also stomach issues from the gout medicine. I’ve gained a lot of mobility and my work performance has improved immensely . Also I’ve always been able to talk to ladys fake it but I’m actually confident and I feel better . Alo

Answer

Mental clarity, generally improved mood, healthier skin, joints don’t hurt as much, fewer cravings (and almost always for high nutrient foods), better sleep, reduced PMS symptoms, and (when timed properly for human growth hormone benefits) better gains after workouts.
