Answer

Probably zinc, oyster is by far the richest source of zinc, no other food comes close. You can actually eat too much zinc from oysters and upset your full grown stomach

Zinc is essential for many body functions however, so it’s possible that a shortage and then surplus gave you the results you had. I’d look at how much zinc you had that day and then find a supplement with less than that and take it every once in a while

Too much zinc can negatively impact you in other ways, be careful and do a little reading. Obligatory not a doctor disclaimer

####Are there specific foods that can boost breast milk output?

There isn’t just one or two grocery store staples deserving of that crown… Forget about all the old folklore tales and screaming online headlines that tout breastfeeding superfoods such as apricots, fennel seeds, oatmeal and salmon. The truth is no solid scientific evidence proves that any one food ramps up lactation.

Think of it this way: It’s not one thing you eat that makes the difference. It’s everything you eat.’

####What foods should I eat while breastfeeding

Focus on making healthy choices to help fuel your milk production. Opt for protein-rich foods, such as lean meat, eggs, dairy, beans, lentils and seafood low in mercury. Choose a variety of whole grains as well as fruits and vegetables.

Eating a variety of foods while breastfeeding will change the flavor of your breast milk. This will expose your baby to different tastes, which might help him or her more easily accept solid foods down the road.

To make sure you and your baby are getting all of the vitamins you need, your health care provider might recommend continuing to take a daily multivitamin and mineral supplement until you wean your baby.

Answer

Just be careful. I’m not sure if there’s some exception with oysters, but I know eating too much zinc can cause serious problems such as copper deficiency. Eating a bunch of oysters per day, regularly, might not be good for you and may also pass on to your child.
