I recently bought some rice cakes. I got the caramel flavored so I don’t think there’s a lot of stuff that you can pair with that flavor.
For caramel flavored rice cakes, you could do nut butter (honestly i think any kind would be fine), Nutella, bananas, apples, chocolate, marshmallow creme, and coconut. I’m sure there’s more, if you look up desserts that use caramel and see what other flavors get used.
Peanut butter and chopped banana, perhaps chocolate spread and chopped strawberries, hummus, cream cheese maybe some salmon or meat too with it if you like that, Greek yoghurt and raspberries. Lots of options :)
Edit: Oh just seen they’re caramel flavour, one of the sweet options above would work well, maybe not the savoury, they’re more for plain or salted.
add some cottage cheese on top, sprinkle salt, powdered garlic and korean chili flakes (pepper does NOT work…), add some lemon juice and top with a turkey cold cut 👨🏻🍳
also: peanut butter and jamcottage cheese and jam
The Carmel ones are tasty enough on their own, I don’t pair them with anything. Although they are the ones I purchase the least cause they’re the highest in sugar. If I get the plain lightly salted rice cakes, I’ll often spread almond butter on top and sprinkle on some flax seed and wheat germ. Makes a nice little snack.
Not as nutritious as yogurt or fruit, but when I’m craving cheese and carbs it beats most other options - put a bit of shredded Parmesan in a pan, heat it up until it’s just beginning to melt and then twist/swirl the ricecake on top - the parm will adhere/stick to it. Eat while warm for best results!
