What’s with people never feeling hungry during a fast?

I’ve been multi-day fasting since I was 14 and intermittent fasting has been my default since I was in high school (24 now). I keep seeing posts where people report no feelings of hunger during fasts, and I wish I could experience that. I am always, always, ravenously hungry. It has been some time since I’ve fasted even 48 hours, so maybe if I go longer I’d get that hunger suppressant?

What do you think causes some people to be extremely hungry and others to not be?

Answer

Well they do normally say thd hunger goes away in 3 to 4 days, so short fasts will leave you hungry.

However, I am always hungry, a week, 10 days, doesn’t matter. The longest time fasting was 30 days and I was hungry every damn day. So probably won’t work for you either.

Answer

I think there is no hunger if you start with a conservative KETO diet (<15g carbs) for a week before your fast. Then enough drinking of just water and electrolytes.

I’ve lots of appetite but not so much hunger. (day 18)
