Hello! Had a quick question about Acidosis Crisis and what that means. Saw some guy throwing that word around, heard is the turning point of your body fully accepting the fast but I’m still confused on what that means. Is everyone who dry fasts at risk for acidosis and could this be fatal?
All the other comments are excellent
I just want to add that if you are doing it for fat loss then the keto diet and around 2000 kcals would be extremely useful
The keto diet lets you sideskirt the insulin sensitivity you get from fasting. You’ll also stay in ketosis throughout refeeding while building up your muscles. Obviously body mass gain wont be as good without the insulin carbs generate but its good enough when you are fasting for fat loss.
