  1. How do you control yourself in gorging out after a 20hour fast?

  2. As an Asian, rice has been a staple part of diet and i want to get rid of it.

Any tips? Thanks in advance.

Answer

  1. Consistency .. the more consistent you are, the easier it becomes to fast and it also becomes easier to make it part of the routine. The adjustment period can be different for everyone but expect the first few days to weeks to be uneasy. You’re literally undoing years or even decades of your bodies routine that it’s used to.. so it’s ok if it’s difficult

Maybe try to simplify it as well.. what I do is when I break my fast I eat a lot of protein to stay full, then I have my carbs at the end of the eating window… usually with a fruit shake with things like pine apple, beets, greens, banana, berries, aloe, any healthy oil like black seed oil, olive oil, lol.. not all at once but like a mixture of these things

  1. Quinoa , sweet potatoes, fruits etc are what I’d recommend to replace rice .. although I’d say rice in moderation is ok just don’t eat too many carbs on the day you eat rice IMO
