Hi everyone, I just started 20:4 for about a week now and already seeing results. I usually start my fast from 5pm-1pm. My question is if on Saturday I indulge with drinks and food until 8pm, will I have to push back my cycle on Sunday? Or is an off day ok in the week?
For example: Saturday my window eating is 1pm-8pm. On Sunday can I go back to my usual 1-5 window or do I need to adjust to fit the 20:4? Thanks l!
That’s ultimately up for you to decide what helps you reach your goals in a sustainable way. There’s no right or wrong answer here. Some folks stretch or ease their schedule, some shift, and others just drop it for that day.
