Answer

Usually, no. Most antioxidants, like carotinoids and other plant colors, aren’t stored. The only exception is vitamin E and C, which get used up by us.

The body makes its own antioxidants like Glutathione/ peroxidase and is pretty effective in fighting off radicals.If it wouldn’t, we would die pretty quickly.

Still, antioxidants are healthy and can prevent the food from oxidizing, which isn’t great for the nutrient makeup.
