I am looking to do self study into nutrition. Can anyone recommend a textbook or two that I could get? Something with an old edition that’s not too far out of date would be great because I want to save money if possible. Thanks!
Understanding Food: Principles and Preparation (Brown, 6e) is a good place to start.
If you’re well-versed in undergrad-level biology and chemistry, another good one is Nutrition Therapy and Pathophysiology.
Krause’s Food and Nutrition Care Process is also good .
