Thanks for the info! So, my question for you isn’t related to the gum, but to the type of fasting you’re doing. Are you doing IF or are you doing rolling 4 day full fasts each week? Thanks in advance for your answer and thanks for this helpful information on the gum.
How much gum did you have per day? My result was that I can’t have more than 6 pieces of trident white or my bl9od sugar will go up. Also, it takes me longer to reach ketosis when chewing it.
It is something I use sparingly now. I notice chewing gum all day extended the period I was feeling hunger. As I reduced gum consumption, my hunger reduced. I think some people can probably do just fine with gum, but some can’t. The same with a diet pop while fasting. It effects some and not others. I have some insulin resistance, so I’m probably more sensitive to sweeteners. Even sugar substitutes can raise glucose levels.
