Clothes clean out

In the last year I have lost 85 pounds through I/F and keto plus Pilates. I’ve gone from a size 14 to a size 6. I want to clean out all my bigger clothes, but I’m worried I’ll jinx myself and start gaining. Silly I know, can’t help feeling apprehensive.

Congratulations!

Every time that I have kept my bigger clothes, I started wearing them when my smaller ones got tight, instead of buckling down on my eating.

This time (hopefully, the last time), I’m getting rid of the bigger clothes. Having something to grow back into has been my downfall.

I perfectly understand! Your fear was my reality more than a few times. I know all about yo-yo. I like to think that that’s it! I have found a sustainable method to lose weight and keep it that way. The niggling feeling still stays however.

If you decide to keep your too big clothes, pack it up and keep it hidden well with Christmas decorations type of stuff. If you decide to keep only part of the lot, keep your favourites and classic, not getting out of fashion pices.

It may be a safety net that will mentally help you.
