Going to Thanksgiving Mass today, should I consider the wine a break from the fast? I might as well eat afterwards as well, right? What if I only have the Eucharist wafer? Should I make every Sunday a free day?
Sunday is a day of feasting. Fasting is forbidden on the sabbath for Sunday we celebrate the resurrection of Christ. At least for us Orthodox. If I fast all 6 other days of the week, it’s ok to take a little break on Sunday 😃
