2021 wasn’t terrible for me, but the last few months of it were really rough on me. I never would had imagined fasting but having started IM fasting a few weeks ago, I felt ready to try a multi day water fast. Physical exhaustion aside, I felt so mentally tough doing it and really look forward to starting another. For me I feel really disciplined and at peace succeeding in the water fast for an extended amount of time. I did it for both weight loss and just clearing my head. I just wanted to lose about 10lbs which I probably lost about 2 of from this fast (I lost more like 6 pounds but probably only of 2 of it was actual fat). I’ve only ate keto since breaking so I haven’t regained much so far, and just started another one this morning. Man I wish I had learned about the benefits of fasting sooner!
Congrats! I’ve done a ton of fasts at this point, my math usually ended up with about 50/50 water/fat loss so your math is probably as good as mine haha.
Another 4 or 5 day fast and you’ll hit your goal!! Good luck!
