Is it ok to do a 36 hour complete fast? No bone breath, NOTHING, every other day?

I’m doing the alternate day fast. I find fasting very easy and even enjoyable. During fasts, I don’t eat anything. I only drink water/coffee/tea. I do this on alternate days and my plan is to keep it up until February. Am I somehow endangering myself?

Get some salts, potassiums and magnesiums, basically electrolytes. You’ll feel better with those supplements.

Dr. Fung only recommends those fasts for stubborn cases in his patients. He also advises 12 hours of refeeding to counter the body resetting a new metabolic homeostasis.

That’s my preferred method too. I’m an all or nothing type of person. I hate counting calories and this method gets me out of it. Keep up the water, vitamins on your eating days. I rarely needed extra electrolytes but you’ll usually feel when you need them.
