From the research I’ve heard consistency is key. It’s really important to stop eating a few hours (2/3) at least before bed and not eat 2/3 hours after waking up. And yes 16:8 is the minimum I’ve heard to be effective because jusy because you stop eating at let’s say 8pm it actually take the body a while to digest and get into a fasted state.
