Day 6 of 30 day water fast

First time attempting 30 days. Just weighed in and I’m 10 pounds down! I know some is water weight but I’m pretty excited. I’m not hungry, but I miss eating. It’s easy to ignore though, since I’d have to take a couple days of broth and vegetables before eating anything I crave or smell anyway at this point. Hit a huge emotional wall on day 3, tears pouring, but was able to overcome it thanks to my support system. The hard part is over for me.

For anyone else doing an extended water fast, you can do it! It’s hard, but so worth it. I feel so much better mentally and physically. We got this! Now to keep reading until 30 days or my body tells me it’s time. Hang in there!

Amazing! Did you experience any pain at all? In the past I’ve had really bad back pain around the 5 day mark. Apparently toxins being released from the colon can inflame the nerves at the base of your spine.
