Yes, I’ve done IF in two stages and lost over 28lbs with it so far.

The first time was a few years ago when I didn’t realize what IF was, but I skipped breakfast and started eating around noon. I lost 10lbs this way.

The second time is right now, from October last year and continuing: I’ve lost over 18 additional lbs from the 10 above and many more inches this time.

I did IF 16:8 last year for three months. Lost a total of 50 pounds. My skin cleared and my sleep felt more restful. Then I went on a stress binge and gained everything again.

Fasting works. It only times determined and patience. Started IF again this month, lost 10 pounds. Mostly water weight.

I’ve been doing it for almost a month and am seeing such little progress, I’m wondering if maybe it doesn’t work for me. I started with 16:8 and naturally progressed to 18:6. Some days I do 20:4. I generally eat low carb. I don’t know if the weight will start to drop more or if it’s just not for me.

OP: What is a few months? 2 or 4 or more? I started doing 18:6 on Friday and will report in a month. What type of food do you eat? Do you eat carbs? Are you allergic to anything, like dairy for ex? And congrats on your achievement!! 👏 Oh and also: Do you exercise?
