dizziness

hey everyone! so i’ve stared intermittent fasting for about 3 weeks now, mostly fasting 17-18 hrs everyday. I eat my first meal at 12 pm and last 6-7 pm. for the past 2 weeks i’ve been experiencing symptoms of low blood sugar (mostly dizziness & heart palpitations) around mid-morning until i have my first meal. I don’t wanna stop IF since i’ve been feeling better in general (other than the dizziness), so i’m wondering if that’s normal? is it just my body adjusting?

Answer

As others have said, probably electrolytes. I would also really work on skipping the refined sugars as much as possible—they often lead to sugar crashes and dizziness (this has really worked well for myself)
