Does drinking 1-2 oz. of water impact the effects of a dry fast?

So I guess my question would be, is “severe dehydration” the main point, or is there a signal in your body which shuts off the sort of hyper-autophagy that only occurs during a dry fast, once you drink even just an ounce of water?

Answer

Yes, as what I read in the Phoenix protocol even a table spoon can break the “hyper-autophagy” mode your body is in.I don’t think of dry fasting as being dehydrated, rather, being hydrated by your own bodily reserves. This takes adaptation to reach, if you do a 7 day off the bat, maybe I’d consider it dehydration…I’m not sure why you’re asking, but if it because you think it will help, just think: will1-2 ounces of water really make a difference? In my experience it actually makes things worse because your body is now shifting to external reliance for hydration and turning off the internal “well,” and if you’re only drinking a small amount, you really aren’t properly hydrating. So now your body isn’t hydrating itself from within and you only gave yourself a minuscule amount of water. You should try it, you’ll find out that you will get VERY thirsty after just drinking a tad of water (my experience, at least).
