So I’ve been doing a lot of dry fasting and recently unknowingly ate a bunch of walnuts (it was the “meat” of a vegan taco); which I have always been allergic too. If I just at half of one my throat would begin to swell pretty quickly. After eating walnuts recently, I had zero reaction at all. My allergic reaction to walnuts has vanished. It’s been so long since I’ve had them, could it be the dry fasting that cured it? Has anyone else experienced something like this? Does anyone know of how dry fasting might of done this?
Interested to hear if anyone else has experienced this or has knowledge on how this might of happened. Who knows, dry fasting might not of been the “cure,” but I’m not sure what else could of done it.
I want to think that It can do so, but I don’t know.
IMHO, food reactions means that your immune system is working bad. Dry fast resets immune system so it makes sense.
In my case, I also have some food reactions as you. Mainly with diary (mucus in ears and nose) and most of nuts (peanuts, almonds, macadamia), etc. During the last months, I have been able to tolerate macadamia nuts because I think fasting and better diet and less stress has helped my gut and immune system to get better.
