Dry fasting for coffee drinker

I’m on my second round of rolling 72’s. First one was a little tough, but now it feels pretty good. I’m experimenting with dry fasting for the first time (almost 24 hours in), but damn if I don’t miss my morning coffee. I think it’s likely due to morning routine and caffeine addiction, but I love coffee. I currently don’t have plans for cutting it completely, just want to see how it feels and what the results are for going dry.

Has anyone else gone through this and what was it like for you? What were your results?

Answer

I’m struggling with the same thing now.
Like I’m literally 48 hours into a 72, and I’m 16 hours dry.

I have a headache. It sucks and I’m also looking for tips.

My hunger isn’t bad at all fasting… but my thirst is insane as is my dependency on caffein :(

Answer

Same, this is the reason I haven’t done more dry fasting. I don’t drink a ton of coffee but that cup or two gets me going for work. One idea I’m going to try soon is to get in coffee in the morning with water/electrolytes then dry fast until the next day and have coffee late. At least then you get your coffee and a 24 hour dry fast in to start. Obviously you will still have to go without coffee eventually if you increase your fasting hours.

Good luck!
