How long do you spend outside exposed to direct sunlight in the morning? Being outside and letting your brain recognize the 70,000 lumens (which is very hard to get from artificial light sources) coming from the sun, activates your circadian rhythm and will give you a boost of melatonin about 12-14 hours later. It helps tremendously with letting your brain get more REM sleep which is opening the brains cerebrospinal fluid tracks and clears a lot of stress chemicals that might build up. You may be already aware of this, but a lot of others are ignorant of it and never get enough sunlight due to being behind building and car windows.

I walk for 20-40 minutes after my last meal and I think that helps. I started doing it because Dr. Huberman suggested it https://youtu.be/9tRohh0gErM

I haven’t watched this one but here’s another episode on circadian rhythms and fasting https://youtu.be/7R3-3HR6-u4

I like him because he’s a neuroscientist and a real doctor. He’s logical and he explains his reasoning. So many of the people trying to instruct us are chiropractors, which is basically the same as an astrologer. Watch out for fasting pseudoscience.

Also, don’t stress about not sleeping when you fast. Resting counts and has many healing qualities. Trust your body and take short rests throughout the day when you can’t sleep. Just a few slow breaths or closing your eyes for a few minutes will help.
