First time DF question: is it difficult to transition out of DF into a WF?

I’m rebooting my YT channel to promote fasting. I’ve never done a dry fast, but I kind of hate how the rest of the fasting world refuses to even talk about it.

It’s like they discovered a hidden truth that they once thought was impossible, yet they have to close their minds to the idea of dry fasting.

I’m hoping for a 40-60’ish day fast, but my main question is if anyone has experience transitioning from dry to a water fast?

On long WFs, if I don’t take re-feeding seriously, I can swell.

I can’t see why going straight to water only would suck, but then again I’ve never tried.

Any help would be most appreciated.

Answer

Most of the fasting world doesn’t speak of dry fasting for one very simple reason. It can get very bad, very quickly if not done right. That is not the case with water and intermittent fasting. For dry fasting you need to do alot of research, prepare yourself mentally and physically. The average person is not capable of this, will jump in with eyes closed, and might end up harming themselves. Be very careful with your YouTube channel.

Transitioning from dry to water fast is quite simple and relatively easy. However, electrolytes when switching are an absolute must imo.

Also, for what reason would you want to do a fast that long ? Taking on such long fasts is not really recommended.
