How do you alleviate dry mouth?

I’m currently on day 8 of my 11 day DF and the dry mouth is constant and very annoying. I’m doing a soft DF, so I do brush my teeth and shower. When brushing my teeth, I do use water and will swish it around in my mouth and sometimes gargle, not swallowing any of it. That does provide some very temporary relief, but the relief goes away very quickly. I try to keep my mouth closed all day, but the dry mouth is pretty much always present. My tongue is always white, which I do my best to brush off when brushing my teeth, but the whiteness comes back quickly. It feels like that is adding to the misery.

Does anybody have any advice on how to fix the dry mouth so I can finish the fast?
