How much time it takes for my body to get used to hunger in the morning?

I am 5’9, 70kg, M, doing OMAD(one meal a day) I eat around 9PM. Probably around 1000-1500 cal, (I don’t count)

I feel like starving 1-2 hours after waking up at 6AM (before 2 weeks I used to wake up at 10AM, sleep at 2AM, now I sleep at 11:30PM)

I started OMAD on 1 Aug this year. But I didn’t eat breakfast earlier.

How do I deal with intense hunger that starts around 8AM and lasts till 2-3PM. it just don’t go away. I am thinking it probably has to with adjustment in my sleep schedule, but that should adjusted in 2 weeks.

Answer

I’ll second someone else’s suggestion of black coffee because it is a natural appetite suppresant. It is also a diuretic so you’ll want to drink extra water.

More water was my second suggestion because it can make you feel full which also helps with the hunger.

Answer

I take a glass of lukewarm water with half a freshly squeezed lemon and some salt. Or a nice big pot of green tea.

Edit: In my omad journey I’ve realised that I function best when I eat by 7.30am in the morning (I wake up at 5am). Waiting till lunch or doing it at dinner is not for me.
