How to overcome the plateau?

I (27m) was 318 lbs in 2021 but through intermittent fasting till 2022 Jun I lost about 50 lbs. but then I became extremely weak like 8 hemoglobin, half the RBC count , low iron, vitamin deficiency etc and that is combined with jaundice so was forced to take a break for approx 2 months to recover from it and gained about 25 lvs from it even though I was extremely restrictive on what food I ate and the quantity of it, just eating three times a day caused me to gain weight. From aug I have been doing IF again, I usually do IF from 4 pm to 11 am. But it’s just not working anymore. I’m stuck at 270 and only increasing if I ever eat one wrong food but not decreasing no matter what I do. I do 9k steps a day and lift weights for about 20 min a day. Please advice me on what I’m doing wrong.

Answer

I don’t have any recommendations other than to consider consistency a win.

I lost 65lbs and hit a plateau, then because I became discouraged, I spiraled and gained it all back.

When it happens again, I will be ready for it.

Hang in there! You will get your target weight!
